Senior Prefects / Houses

Each year, the Year 5 children, who will soon become Year 6 Student Leaders, choose to make an application to become Senior Prefects. This involves writing a speech and having that speech recorded so the entire school can vote for the ‘policy’ they want to win. In 2022-23, the Senior Prefects were Tenzin Gurung, Sophia Morton and Stirling Dothie, each of whom were stars in their own right and set a really high bar for future candidates.

For the 2023-24 school year, we had 22 applications and so had to use two rounds of voting to whittle it down. Ultimately, due to a tie-break situation the children elected three Senior Prefects for Year 6. I would like to extend my congratulations to Nathan Dube, Marnie Batterham and Mia Weymouth. You can read their winning speeches below. Good luck in your new roles as Senior Prefects!
